Our New Restaurant Menu - Spring 2026

As the clocks go forward, the nights get lighter and the weather gets warmer, we’re celebrating the new season with changes to our day and evening menus. As always, we’ve been working on some new dishes using local and seasonal produce, to bring you vibrant and exciting plates of food.

From lunch time salads and ciabattas, to our lighter Spring pies and sensational desserts, there is definitely something for everyone.

To view our full menus, you can do so here, but if you want a little insight in to what we’ve been working on, read on and prepare to be hungry.

Our Small Plates

You’ll want to visit us with quite the appetitte so you can fit in a starter as well as a main! We’ve put together some really tasty small plates to get your meal off to an excellent start. We have our pressed chicken terrine with pea puree and pickled shallots and smoked trout pate with chive cream, as well as some lighter dishes like salt-baked heritage beetroot with whipped feta and hazelnuts. Not only that, we’ve amped up our famous cacklebean scotch egg by creating a lamb version and serving it with salsa verde.

Small but mighty, we’ve packed lots of flavour in to some incredible small plates.

Our Mains

During our lunch service, you can make the most of our amazing pub classics, which now include a buttermilk chicken burger and sees the return of our signature mac and cheese! When it comes to evening food, not only have we created some really exciting new dishes like our lamb rump, loin of cod and steak frites, we’re also going to continue serving our ever popular pies! We’ve made them slightly lighter for the coming months, but we certainly haven’t sacrificed any flavour, you can choose from chicken, tarragon and mushroom or our Mediterranean vegetable and feta pies.

Our Vegetarian Options

Nothing screams Spring like some tasty fresh vegetables, which is why we’re celebrating them in a lot of our dishes. We’ve got a mouth-watering roscoff onion tarte tatin which makes for the perfect pub lunch, as well as our heritage tomato, mozzeralla and basil oil salad and we’ve already mentioned the return of our super cheesy mac and cheese. For dinner you can enjoy our herb-crusted celeriac that comes with pea puree and baby leeks and a wild garlic risotto, which we forage the wild garlic for ourselves, so it couldn’t get any fresher! All packed with flavour and cooked fresh, we’re really excited about these dishes, and we hop you are too.

Our Puds

To finish off the most amazing meal, you have to enjoy something sweet, and we’ve got some very tempting new desserts. Like our dark chocolate tart with pistachio ice cream, a deconstructed Eton mess cheesecake and a fresh and zingy coconut panna cotta with mango sorbet, pineapple salsa. As well as a selection of sorbets and ice creams and don’t worry, our sticky toffee pudding remains on the menu at all times.

Hopefully this is enough of a teaser to get those tastebuds going and making you want to book a table with us this Winter! If you need more temptation, then please do check out our full menu here. If you want to come and try out our delicious food, book a table and we’ll see you soon!
